Cleansing, Protecting, and Storing Gem Elixirs

Taking care of gems elixirs

As with flower essences, gem elixirs are vibrational preparations that are very sensitive to environmental pollutants. It is wise to take special precautions when storing them. Before storing the elixirs or gemstones, first wash the storage area with distilled water using organic linen such as a cotton handkerchief. Then leave the storage area empty for several days.

Keep a pyramid, quartz crystals, and gold, silver, or copper in the storage area. Any of these items can also be put in the storage space during the brief period before putting in the gem elixirs and stones.
Depending on available space, you can also permanently put small pieces of quartz by the four comers of the storage area. Every few months, quartz kept in the storage area should be cleansed in sea salt and under be a pyramid for a few hours. Gem elixirs, flower essences, and homeopathic remedies can be stored in the same space.

Never leave gem elixirs in the kitchen where they can be negatively influenced by odors such as caffeine or camphor. In addition, never leave them under the sun because they can be damaged by extreme heat.

Gem elixirs exposed to extreme cold will not be damaged if they are carefully thawed under a crystal pyramid for approximately two hours. After the water thaws, 62 degrees F. is the best storage temperature for gem elixirs. However, when the temperature approaches zero, the water freezes and expands so that the bottle containing the elixir may crack. Care needs to be taken in order to prevent this during the winter. Never leave gem elixirs near toxic metals such as aluminum or lead.

How often should we cleanse mother essence bottles, stock bottles, and homeopathically prepared gem elixirs?

Stock bottles and homeopathically prepared gem elixirs should be purified once every thirty to ninety days. Wipe the bottles with sea salt using pure linen and distilled water. It is beneficial to put the bottles under a pyramid for thirty minutes to twenty-four hours, but just putting them by quartz crystals also enhances them.

Mother essence bottles should be cleansed quarterly, although if stored properly, once a year would be sufficient. This, of course, depends on the needs and concerns of the practitioner. Each time mother essence or storage bottles are opened they should be wiped with sea salt using pure linen and put under a pyramid for two hours. This requirement is not necessary with stock bottles. Stored gem elixirs should not touch each other because the different elixirs gradually merge over ten to twenty years. If the bottle’s actually touch
each other, their etheric properties are attracted to each other and gradually their properties merge.

Over several years, this process begins to take effect. If stored gem elixirs are touching each other, put the bottles under a crystal pyramid every two years for twenty-four hours and wipe the bottles with sea salt. Flower essences need to be cleansed the most because they work on realms of conscious, homeopathic remedies should be cleansed the least because they are of a denser frequency, and gem elixirs should be cleansed more often than homeopathic remedies but less often than flower essences.

Why do flower essences need to be stored in an alcohol such as brandy, while gem elixirs can be stored in pure water?

Flower essences are prepared from organic substances so they need the ethereal vibration. Brandy also attunes flower essences to the devic kingdom. Gem elixirs area more stable vibration because they are made in an inanimate or inorganic pattern.”

If I obtain a rare mineral specimen that also has glue on it, what is the best way to remove the glue?

While it is always best to obtain mineral specimens without glue, if this becomes an issue, rub the glue off with pure alcohol (190 proof) and pure linen or cotton. If this type of alcohol is not obtainable, use vodka or brandy. Occasionally a liquid such as water may first need to be used to dissolve or weaken the glue.
